(1) $1,650. CNR XXVII, June 2002, lot 80.
(2) King & Spaer, NC 1977, N. Sinai Hoard, 4153
(3) Obverse legend is IMP C DOMITIVS DOMITIANVS AVG as opposed to expected IMP C L DOMITIVS DOMITIANVS AVG. Refer to RIC #020
(4) Based on the coins listed here I do not believe that the reverse descriptions of this issue have been adequately developed. RIC notes that officinas A and G show liquor flowing while officina B does not. There is sufficient evidence that officina A, also, may, or may not, have liquor flowing. Additionally, RIC notes that the eagle holds a wreath in its beak. There is adequate evidence that it may, or may not, hold a wreath. Also, RIC associates the reverse break _L_ only with officina A, while V_L is associated with officinas B and G. This, also, appears to be incorrect. |
