Notes:     Gemini I, Lot 487 Extremely rare Ex Leu 77, 11-12 May 2000, lot 757. In contrast to the preceding lot, this solidus was struck on the occasion of Placidia's restoration in the west. Placidia and her son, Valentinian III, are known to have been in Aquileia from May to early August AD 425, before proceeding to Rome where Valentinian was proclaimed Augustus. The solidi of Aquileia are thus the first of the new reign.
